Default PC Controls
Squid Game X by redifi uses standard Roblox locomotion on PC with mode-specific prompts during minigames. WASD moves your character; Space jumps; Shift sprints when stamina allows. Mouse look Controls camera — critical for spotting Red Light Green Light doll rotations and Glass Bridge panel angles.
Interaction keys appear as on-screen prompts when near objects: E or click for generic interact, depending on Roblox binding settings. Shop, Active Codes, and upgrade menus open from lobby UI buttons rather than hotkeys — locate them before queuing.
Emotes and role actions may bind to number keys or radial menus during Night Brawl and Rebellion. Check Controls overlay in settings if redifi adds new bindings after Update 11.
- W/A/S/D — Move
- Space — Jump
- Shift — Sprint (stamina limited)
- Mouse — Camera look
- E / Left Click — Interact (context prompt)
- Esc — Roblox menu (avoid mid-minigame)
Mobile Touch Controls
Mobile uses virtual joystick for movement and swipe/drag for camera. Jump and sprint buttons sit on screen edges — resize in Roblox settings if thumbs block view during Jump Rope or Mingle.
Tap interact buttons when prompted. Red Light Green Light on mobile demands finger discipline: lift entirely off movement stick on red light. Partial drift causes eliminations — see Red Light Green Light mobile section.
Code redemption and shop access mirror PC through lobby icons. Rotate device to landscape for wider camera in Hide and Seek.
Console / Gamepad
Left stick moves, right stick cameras, A/X jumps, bumper sprint. Interact via face button prompts. Vibration may trigger on elimination — disable in Roblox if distracting.
Console players suffer in Honeycomb tracing minigames requiring precision cursor — consider mobile or PC for competitive play on drawing-heavy modes.
Controls Tips by Mode
Red Light Green Light: release all movement on red; pre-position camera during green. Pentathlon and Jump Rope: rhythm over mashing sprint. Glass Bridge: walk do not sprint until panel confirmed safe in Glass Bridge.
Tug of War: alternate pull inputs with team — read Tug of War. Marbles: aim carefully; sensitivity matters. Sky Squid: vertical movement mastery on Map & Lobby elevated arenas.
New players should complete Beginner Guide tutorial rounds before rebinding keys. Custom bindings unsupported inside some minigames — test in private lobby if available.
