How We Rank Squid Game X Builds
This tier list evaluates Upgrades, passes, and shop items by impact on win rate, coin per hour, and versatility across Squid Game X modes. Rankings reflect the June 2026 meta after Update 11 on Roblox Game ID 7554888362 by redifi. S-tier picks help most players in most rounds; lower tiers are niche or luxury buys.
We separate PvE survival value (staying alive in Red Light Green Light, Glass Bridge, Honeycomb) from economy value (farming coins for Upgrades). VIP game pass dominates economy tier lists. Movement and reaction Upgrades dominate survival lists. Cross-reference All Guides for mode-specific tips — tier list items amplify skill but do not replace it.
Meta shifts when redifi rebalance modes or add mechanics like Glass Maker. Revisit this page after major patches and check Discord NZp7EM5yxX for developer-intended strong builds.
S-Tier — Must Have
VIP Game Pass (349 Robux) — S-tier economy. Doubles all coin earnings, making every mode and code redemption path more efficient. Essential for players grinding Upgrades page stats daily. Pays for itself over roughly ten to fifteen focused farming sessions per Coin Farming.
Speed / Stamina Upgrades (see Upgrades) — S-tier survival. Faster movement wins Red Light Green Light green phases, escapes Night Brawl pursuers, and reaches Honeycomb finish lines under timer pressure. Prioritize these after first code redemptions from Active Codes.
Coin multiplier shop bundles during events — S-tier when discounted. Temporary boosts stack mentally with VIP even if not multiplicatively — time farming during boost windows.
- S: VIP Game Pass — best Robux spend for progression
- S: Core speed Upgrades — universal survival value
- S: Stamina regen Upgrades — Pentathlon and Jump Rope
- A: Reaction time cosmetics with hitbox clarity — Glass Bridge
- A: Guard role unlock path — see Guard & Frontman
A-Tier & B-Tier Picks
A-tier items excel in specific modes but not everywhere. Glass Bridge panel memory aids, tug-of-war team stat boosts, and Hide and Seek stealth cosmetics land here. Buy after S-tier foundations if you main those modes — read All Modes and matching All Guides before investing.
B-tier includes flashy cosmetics, lobby emotes, and minor stat bumps that do not change outcomes. Fun for roleplay and Discord clips, low priority for competitive climbing. Frontman cosmetics fall here unless you regularly queue Frontman role content from Guard & Frontman.
C-tier and below: duplicate purchases, outdated event items superseded by new shop rotations on Shop & Items, and experimental gadgets with narrow use cases. Skip until completionist goals.
Build Paths by Playstyle
Casual player path: redeem Active Codes → buy speed upgrade → save for VIP → fill stamina and luck stats → cosmetics. Follow Beginner Guide first ten hours.
Grinder path: VIP first if Robux available → max coin Upgrades → farm Pentathlon and Sky Squid per Coin Farming → Tier List A-tier mode specialists.
Role player path: Guard / Frontman unlocks → B-tier cosmetics → Night Brawl and Rebellion All Guides. Lower win-rate focus, higher content variety.
Whichever path you choose, never skip learning Controls and Map & Lobby flow. Stats cannot fix unknown rules in Marbles or Rock Paper Scissors Minus One.
